| Description | Your text to link...Your text to link...JOHN 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.(NIV) God loves us and wants to have a relationship with us. Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness However, we have chosen to go our own independent way and our sins have caused a separation between us and God. Isaiah 59:12 Your iniquities (sins) have made a separation between you and God. Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned each one to his own way; but the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Most of us are aware of this seperation and we try to do good works to get back to God. Titus 3: 5-6 God…saved us. Not because of good works we have done, but because of his mercy Romans 3:20 Because by the works of the law, no one will be justified in God’s sight, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin But we all sin and fall short. Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God The Bible says the penalty for our sins is death(spiritual separation from God). Romans 6:23 The wages of [penalty for] sin is death Hebrews 9:27 It is appointed for men to die once; then after that to face judgment But God did for us what we could not do for ourselves. He provided a bridge to help us get back to God. 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ died for sins once for all…, in order that He might bring us to God When Jesus Christ died on the cross, he paid the penalty for our sins. He died so that we would not have to. Romans 5:8 God proved his love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us But it is not enough just to know this. To cross over the bridge we need to receive Christ by asking Him to forgive us and to come into our lives John 1:12 As many as received Him…, to them He gave the right to become children of God Revelation 3:20 NIV Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me Does this make sense to you? Based on this diagram, where are you in your relationship with Christ? Would you like to receive Christ and cross over to the other side? YOUR CHURCH WON'T THRIVE UNLESS PEOPLE ARE SHARING THEIR FAITH!!! THANK YOU JESUS :) | ||||
